Optimas Solutions Announces New European Headquarters

Optimas Solutions is delighted to announce the opening of its new European headquarters in Hambach, France.

Optimas, the leading global industrial distributor and service provider specializing in fastening and supply chain solutions, has relocated from its facility in Sarreguemines, France, to a brand-new, bespoke distribution hub in Hambach. This strategic decision enhances Optimas’ investment in Europe while strengthening supply chain security and operational efficiency.

Optimas’ new facility has a 6,000m² warehouse that can hold up to 9,500 pallets and 1,500m² of modern office space. Hambach is home to more than 70 employees for sourcing, supply chain, engineering, quality, sales and operations teams, as well as a dedicated team providing products and services to the tunnel industry.

Since 2021, Optimas has seen significant growth in Europe and now supports more than 500 customer locations across 30 countries, managing over 3,000 parts from 400 suppliers. In addition, over 70 tunnel projects are currently supported globally.

The facility is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accredited and supplies leading OEMs and tiers across many industries, including automotive, agriculture, heavy-duty truck, semiconductor capital equipment, tunnel infrastructure and more.

The opening of the facility was also a chance to celebrate Optimas’ 10-year anniversary since its inception in 2015. The day provided an opportunity for local dignitaries to explore the facility on a guided tour and celebrate the occasion with staff.

“I’m proud to celebrate the opening of our new Hambach facility,” said Optimas International CEO Mike Tuffy. “Our operations in Europe have grown considerably in the past few years, and this strategic investment enables us to meet our customers’ needs and provide further growth opportunities in the region.”

The opening of the new facility is a landmark day for Optimas. “I’m delighted to open the state-of-the-art facility alongside our talented team,” said Optimas Vice President-Europe David Kessler. “Our commitment to operational excellence and regional growth has never been stronger, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds.”

Moving from Sarreguemines to Hambach was a complex operation. “The team accomplished this move in under six weeks with no disruption to customer operations,” said Optimas International Vice President-Operations Martyn Johnson. “It reflects Optimas’ exceptional operational standards and the ability to execute efficiently.”
