SUNCO to Launch Web Edition of Socket Boy Magazine

We launched the magazine SOCKET BOY in January 2024. While there are several magazines around the worlds dedicated to fasteners, Japan had no such specialized publication. That’s why we decided, “if it does not exist, we’ll create it ourselves!” – and SOCKET BOY was born from that spirit.

SOCKET BOY is a free magazine issued by Sunco Industries. Since its launch in 2024, it has been sharing with the world a wide range of content from the latest fastener industry news to the rich culture and history of Higashiosaka, Japan’s renowned craftsmanship city. Whether you are an industry professional, manufacturing enthusiast, or simply someone with a curious mind, SOCKET BOY is a must-read!

Since the magazine was published in January 2024, we have been mailing our own paper copies to those who wanted to subscribe, but this summer we finally completed the website of the magazine Socket Boy! The website will also contain a lot of information about the Japanese fastener industry and Higashi Osaka City, a city with a thriving manufacturing industry in Japan. The magazine will be sent by post free of charge to those who wish to receive it by post, so if you are interested, please contact us via the prospective subscriber page.
