Brainard Rivet Company Celebrates 110 Years of Excellence
Brainard Rivet Company is proud to celebrate 110 years of continuous American manufacturing, marking more than a century of innovation, craftsmanship, and commitment to the fastener industry. Founded in 1916 to produce fasteners for the hoops on wooden kegs, Brainard has grown into one of the nation’s most respected producers of cold‑headed fasteners, serving a wide range of industrial markets with precision‑engineered products.
Over the decades, Brainard’s capabilities expanded alongside America’s industrial growth. The company evolved from supplying the Wine & Barrel industries to supporting agricultural machinery, railroad car manufacturing, automotive and truck frame production, furniture assembly, recreational vehicles, and general metalworking. Today, Brainard manufactures small and large rivets, clevis pins, knurled, threaded, grooved, and trimmed products, along with hex weld nuts, all produced with the company’s hallmark focus on print‑specific solid fasteners in steel and non‑ferrous materials.
As an employee‑owned subsidiary of Fastener Industries, Brainard Rivet Company continues to uphold its longstanding quality policy: Total Customer Satisfaction Through Continuous Improvement. With ISO 9001:2015 certification, in‑house tooling, advanced simulation software, and a full suite of heading, drilling, grooving, threading, knurling, and heat‑treat capabilities, Brainard remains committed to delivering reliable, on‑time, American‑made fasteners for customers across the country.
Brainard Rivet Company looks forward to celebrating this milestone with industry partners throughout the year.
