Women in the Fastener Industry (WIFI) Announces Scholarship Winners
WIFI announced that Damaris Hernandez of Industrial Rivet and Emma Tyloch of All Integrated Solutions have been selected as recipients of the Joanne Sherman E-Learning Scholarship. Through this award, they will receive access to THORS online classes.
Typically, this scholarship allows recipients to select up to five THORS courses. However, this year, instead of offering five individual courses, THORS is providing scholarship recipients with access to their MFG-Genius™ tool.
MFG-Genius includes access to the entire THORS course library and 50 AI-powered question credits to use over two months.
Damaris is a customer service representative who has been part of the industry since 2013. She is passionate about leadership and is dedicated to guiding and uplifting others, just as mentors and colleagues have supported her throughout her career.
“I am honored to accept the Joanne Goodman Sherman Scholarship and truly grateful for your support,” Damaris said. “This award will make a meaningful contribution to my education in this industry, and I appreciate your confidence in my goals and potential. Thank you so much for the opportunity.”
Emma Tyloch of All Integrated Solutions is currently a sourcing analyst, marking her third role since joining All Integrated Solutions in 2023. She is highly motivated and eager to expand her knowledge within the fastener industry.
“I began my career in the fastener industry at AIS, starting in the warehouse in order fulfillment and then moving into receiving, where I strengthened my understanding of product flow and quality,” Emma said. “As AIS and Tower evolved into one unified MSC OEM Business Unit, I was proud to grow into my current role as a sourcing specialist within this strong, collaborative team. I’m passionate about the fastener industry and committed to expanding my skills, and this WIFI scholarship is an exciting opportunity to deepen my knowledge. I’m grateful for a leader and a team who support my development every day, and I look forward to continuing my growth within the OEM business. Outside of work, I’m an artist and I bring creativity into everything I do. Thank you for this opportunity!”
