WIFI (Women in the Fastener Industry) Announces Scholarship Winner
Jeannine Ciabottoni of AFC Industries is the first recipient of the Maryann Marzocchi Scholarship. This scholarship will go towards tuition for her daughter, Brooke, at Clemson University.
Jeannine has been working in the fastener industry for 17 years and was inspired by her father, who was in the fastener industry for 45 years. The fastener industry has provided her with many opportunities and has allowed her to show her daughters that if you work hard, you can achieve your goals and be successful.
Jeannine’s daughter, Brooke, will be majoring in Language and International Health. She plans to further her education after Clemson to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
A statement from Jeannine and Brooke reads:
“My daughter and I are very honored to be the first recipients of the Maryann Marzocchi Education Scholarship. I am proud to be part of an organization that not only provides opportunities for women in the fastener industry but extends these resources to the families of its members. My daughter is excited to begin her college career at Clemson University and is grateful for the generous support this scholarship offers. We are thankful to Women in the Fastener Industry for this amazing recognition and look forward to being the first of many recipients in the years to come.”
